Throughout 2016 and 2017 I teamed up with Rosten Woo to do a year of reading on the subject of violence and community justice. That led to the creation of a visual and written essay written on the subject under the title “WROL IRL” (based on the social media hashtags Without Rule of Law and IRL) for the catalog of Walls Turned Sideways (curated and edited by Risa Puleo for Contemporary Art Museum of Houston in Fall 2018).
